DEATHROW POUND DOGS & CATS, 910 year old mixed All breed x & purebreeds

CAN YOU GET YOUR NEXT PET FROM A POUND DEATHROW? YES! Every week all council pounds around Australia have many lovely companion animals of all size, type, breed x & purebred that have been abandoned or surrendered by heartless people & arrive at a pound.

Legal hold time 7 days without microchip 14 days if microchipped in NSW, other states a disgraceful 3 days without ID and then killed if a rescue group doesn't take or if no rescue group operating in area.

Tragically many thousands of unclaimed animals are not saved & die in our pounds every year.

PLEASE call your local council and ask/insist for information about animals in their pound needing a home & ask to arrange a time to view & keeping calling.

In our Northern Rivers area NSW & surrounds you have council pounds in Ballina, Lismore, Casino, Kyogle, Grafton, Murwillumbah & many unwanted & dumped pets arrive at these pounds every day through no fault of the animals.

Please call your local council & ask to view the animals & save an unwanted pet from deathrow. Many pounds are not open to the public & you need to call council to arrange a viewing, so please persist, your next best companion animal could be there.

In Casino the animal pound is located at the Landfill(tip)which is open 7 days of the week, not an inspiring location for homeless animals, but at least open 9am - 4pm every day for the caring public to view many unclaimed animals that need a home Weekend viewing restricted to viewing not meeting due to limited staff.

ARRG rescues deathrow animals from 3 local pounds every week, but we are struggling to find enough foster homes to meet the demand this year.

To find your next pet and save a deathrow pound animal in Ballina, Lismore, Casino, Kyogle, Grafton, Murwillumbah call that council and arrange a time to view animals at their pound.

Call ARRG if you need more information about your local council pound and viewing OR if any council is not helpful about viewing or rehoming their pound animals.

ARRG works hard to bridge the gap between council's animal control work & our animal welfare & rescue work & need information about any council unwilling to co-operate to see animals saved rather than killed.
