ARRG URGENTLY NEEDS YOUR HELP!

The most tragic cat rescue case to date (19 December 2004).

UPDATE 01
UPDATE 02

ARRG was contacted by the Department of Health just days ago to help care for over 17 cats owned by an elderly person who has been hospitalised very ill, and leaving his cats without care.

The cats are all purebred orientals, choc point, lilac point, ginger point, seal point etc. the most pretty cats. The most difficult part for ARRG is that some of these cats have been neglected and now have mild symptoms of cat flu.

Also as they were breeding cats they have not been well socialised and have lived in cages as seen in the photos. ARRG is asking for your support and help for one of the most difficult cat rescue operations undertaken by us and we are shocked to think of the outcome if ARRG was not here to help.

All the cats have received vet treatment and are now on treatment, we are confident they will completely recover the mild cat flu.

One of the most difficult task for ARRG will be covering the vet costs for so many cats, and then finding homes for them, due to their shyness.

This rescue case couldn't be at a worse time (summer cat breeding season), our foster carers are 'over full' with abandoned pregnant cats and kittens.

We need urgent support now to cope!

Can you become a sponsor by making a donation to help cover the vet costs for one of these cats/kittens?
Can you offer a home for just one of these poor cats?

They range from purebred oriental choc point 10 week old kittens, young adult cats, mature cats; they will not be re-homed until they are well.

All they need is a loving patient home that can introduce them to love, many are already purring and want cuddles when our volunteers feed and care for them, even through this awful stage.

If we can find enough loving cat homes to take just one into your lives we may get through this crisis for them and us. There will be no charge for screened homes and all cats will be vaccinated and desexed before they leave us, but you will need to accept them into your home and give them time to adjust and we know with time and love they will respond.

Please email us or call 6622 1881 ASAP and help these cats and us through this tough rescue case.
